When did libraries become daycare centres? It's so loud in this library (and all libraries, I suppose) that you can barely hear yourself think. These kids are rude and irritating, at best. When I was a kid (not that long ago, as I'm only in my 30's), libraries were SILENT, because people were reading. I remember going to the library at school as a child, and they checked that our hands were clean and that we had a clean plastic bag to put our books in. Books were considered important, special. Now, there are children running around, screaming, crying, laughing, EATING, everywhere! It's absolutely nuts. Parents, I get it, your little snowflake is sooo special, but really, have some consideration for the other people in the library. Your snowflake isn't THAT special.

Second, we just came to this lovely country some months ago, you know, fleeing violence and threats. At first when I went through shelves of movies, I could see nothing in the back-picture of movies but gunshots, violence, blood and killing; I mean a lot of Action Movie, and less family and drama... related ones... It's a sad thing that a lot kids and people here love action games and movies. But the public library can make efforts to create a culture of family-orientation (if I'm accurate in my language), love and watching and playing stuff without violence.

It's not the library's fault, but there seems to be no action taken towards this. It's the norm. It's okay for children to take up all of the floor so you can't walk anywhere. I can't really read here anymore without being distracted.

Lack of programs. Outdated unusable website.

I was told that the library will not bring more toys and baby stuff "because of theft". Well, you can prevent it with other means. Our little one love this place, and we take him there sometimes, and playing with a couple of toys available, he soon gets bored and starts pulling books off of shelves. It would be awesome if there are more toys and play-stuff for kids.

A lovely place to be in the neighborhood where we live. Used printing- service, books, movies, and the children play-section for my 10-m-o son.

My problem with this library is that people will have full blown conversations (having nothing to do with studying, reading, etc) at full volume. It's okay to talk, but when you're practically shouting please go outside so people can work.

If I want to have some thoughts for a better change at the library, it would be like this:

The library has lots of room for improvement, and should catch up to speed with the rest of the library systems in our neighboring cities.

There's good selection and variety for the library considering its size, but there isn't enough seating or desks. But as of this review there are plans to add more so this isn't a problem.

There's an ok selection of books, there's decent seating as in you will most likely find a a seat, theres a diverse crowd of people.... but it's always quite so not to shabby...
